Welcome, students!

In October 2018 I was appointed by Hull University Union to be the subject representative for Mathematics within the Faculty of Science & Engineering.

In this capacity I represent the views of mathematics students at staff-student forums, acting as an intermediary between the higher-level faculty representatives and the course representatives for individual class groups. I also lead or assist with any academic student-led initiatives within the school. Through this role I play a part in shaping the university’s policies and decisions to maintain and improve the teaching experience for students.

Alongside this I perform a subsidiary function as a Course Representative for the second years in BSc Mathematics.
